Episode 42 - Unfair

In this week's episode, Zach is in Portland so the guys try out some of their new portable equipment as they talk about boardgames. First up, Zach convinces his mom to buy Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle and we get to find out if this deckbuilder has magical powers or if it's a squib. Next, Jeff gets to try both sides in back-to-back games of War of the Ring and we find out if this heralds a return of the king of two player thematic games or if the fellowship was bogged down in cobwebs. Finally, Adrian takes a crack at entrepreneurship with the folks at Heavy Cardboard during a live play; were his burgers cooked to order and his pizza on point or did his soda and beer go flat? Word of yet another Evolution game kicks off news and is joined with hordes of undead orcs and goblins from Zombicide: Green Horde. Kickstarter is filled with Crosstalk as the campaign for Brass dropped the day of recording and Gloomhaven continues to make a bunch of money. The big review this week is an advanced look at the upcoming Unfair from Good Games Publishing and CMON and the guys dig in to the seedy underside of this treacherous game of take-that. Do the twists and turns of all these rollercoaster thrill or does the primary attraction lack the proper amenities? Answers to all of these questions, as well as some from our listeners are answered inside!
