Episode 02 - The SecondCast

In this episode we start off talking a bit about what we've been playing recently, a topic filled with cutting edge games like Catan, Love Letter, Cribbage, and Euchre.
Then we get on into the meat of the episode: Purchasing games! We discuss our preferences for where to acquire new games while debating the benefits of both online ordering and supporting your local game store. After we've established where we buy our games we move on into a chat about researching (or not) before purchasing a new game. This derails briefly into a discussion of our experiences with Munchkin and Marvel Dice Masters which in turn lead right into our debate about when we feel like a game is "worth it". To finish this segment we discuss purchasing and subsequently adding expansions to our games or, in the case of a few expansions, just letting them sit on a shelf and look pretty.
